A big Thank You from Fred's

Some of you may know about the "de-stash" table already. For those who don't, the "de-stash" table is a concept whereby we sell gifted fabrics/materials (their stash!) and donate the proceeds to a chosen charity. Let's face it, everyone has a stash of fabric that is hidden away for a rainy day project but has never seen the light of day.  This way you can clear your stash and know you are doing something for charity at the same time!

It's been running for a while now and thanks to you all we've raised a fantastic amount for charity since the start. In the past we have donated to the Chesterfield RSPCA and to Ashgate Hospice.  Most recently we have been supporting our next door neighbours, The Samaritans. All the proceeds from the de-stash table were recently counted and we presented them with a cheque recently for £450!

Well done everyone and thanks for supporting this.

By the way, we're happy to receive any more fabric donations. Currently we are supporting the "Versus Arthritis" charity as chosen by former owner, Lorraine Jukes.
