June news

New sign. Same Fred's.

The new sign has been sat in the shop since we closed at the end of February and it feels great to finally have it up above the shop front.

So what's new this month at Fred's?

We've been using the lock-down period to tweak and add products to the website. Generally speaking if you know we have a product in the shop but it's not on the website then we probably just haven't added it yet. If that's the case, please email and ask and we can add it relatively quickly.  If you have any comments abou the website please email us at enquiries@freds-haberdashery.co.uk

We have launched two new services during the month of May - pickup and local delivery.  When you are checking out on the website, you will now be able to choose the relevant option. Pickup means you can collect your order from the shop and you will be notified by email when it is ready for collection. Local delivery is available for S40 and S41 postcodes only (£1.20 flat fee).

Face Masks

We have been busy making face masks at home and have seen an increase in interest in the products needed to make them.

Go and check out Emily #2's blog on this subject.

We also sell mask kits for you to have a go at making your own.

Social Media alert!

Make sure to follow us on social media - you can find us on FaceBook/Instagram and Twitter.

Facebook & Instagram will continue to post updates from the shop, new products available, and other stories.

For a more light-hearted look at the world of haberdashery jump over to Twitter. We have been tweeting excitedly during the "The Great British Sewing Bee" - Emily #2 was most pleased when Patrick Grant liked her tweet!
